Intuitive Body Intelligence

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Intuitive Body Intelligence 6-Month Training Program (“the Training”), which includes:

Part 1: Online teaching modules

Part 2: In-person retreat in Portugal

Part 3: Online integration and clinical practice

The Training is organised and facilitated by Leandra Brady-Walker, The Lumos Initiative (“the Organizer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By enrolling, paying, or accessing any portion of the Training, you (“the Student”, “you”, or “your”) agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement under European Union law.

3. Payment Terms

Deposit

A deposit of €800 is required to secure your place in the course.

Deposits are non-refundable; if you are no longer able to attend for reasons of exceptional circumstances, illness or an emergency, you’ll be offered a place in another intake.

When enrolling in this course, your deposit is required to secure your place. It's important to note that deposits are typically non-refundable, meaning that if you change your mind and decide not to attend, you will not receive a refund of the deposit. It's essential that you carefully consider your commitment to the course before making a deposit to avoid losing your deposit unnecessarily.

However, there may be situations beyond your control that prevent you from attending the course, such as unforeseen illness, an emergency, or exceptional circumstances. In such cases, you may be offered a place in another intake of the course, subject to availability. Refunds in such cases will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, and it's important to communicate as soon as possible if you are unable to continue attending.

Any refunds issued to you will be minus the amount of any and all conversion rates, transfer fees and admin of processing.

This is usually around 20%.

By enrolling, you agree to complete all scheduled payments, even if you later withdraw or fail to participate, except as provided under the Refund Policy below.

Failure to complete payments may result in suspension of access to materials and cancellation of your enrolment.

Fee outline

The course is €6,750 (euros).

The full fee total is inclusive of your deposit fee.

Full fees are due 14 days (two weeks) before your course start date.

Payment plans are avalible.

4. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU)

If you purchase the Training online as a consumer within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the order date, without giving a reason.

However, because the Training includes digital educational content and scheduled live services, this right expires once you:

- Access the online materials or platform, or

- Attend your first live session, or

- Provide explicit consent for the service to begin before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period.

By enrolling and accessing the course materials, you acknowledge that the service has begun and that your right of withdrawal has been waived.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Before the Training Begins

Withdrawals within the 14-day cooling-off period: Full refund, less non-refundable processing fees.

After the 14-day period but before the Training start date: 50% refund, at the organiser’s discretion.

After the Training Begins

Once the Training has commenced, no refunds will be granted for any reason, including withdrawal, illness, or inability to complete the program.

Retreat Portion

Cancellations 60 days or more before the retreat start date: 50% refund of the retreat portion only (if separately costed).

Cancellations within 60 days of the retreat: no refund.

You may transfer your retreat place to another approved participant up to 30 days before the retreat begins, with written approval.

Program Transfers

You may request to defer your enrolment to the next cohort once, if made in writing at least 30 days before the training start date.

After this date, transfers are not permitted.

Organiser Cancellations

If we must cancel or reschedule the Training or Retreat, you may choose between a full refund or credit toward a future offering. We are not liable for associated costs such as flights, accommodation, or visa expenses.

6. Access & Intellectual Property

All course materials, recordings, handouts, and online content remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Organiser.

You are granted a non-transferable, personal license to access and use these materials solely for your own study and personal development.

You agree that you will not:

Share or distribute login credentials, materials, or recordings with anyone else.

Copy, reproduce, or publish any part of the Training for commercial or teaching purposes.

Use the Training name, branding, or intellectual property to promote your own offerings without written permission.

Violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of access without refund and possible legal action.

7. Participation & Conduct

This Training involves deep personal and energetic processes. You agree to:

Participate respectfully in all sessions (online and in-person).

Maintain confidentiality for all group members.

Refrain from recording or sharing sessions without explicit permission.

Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during any live sessions or retreat activities.

The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms, without refund.

8. Health & Responsibility

This Training is educational and developmental in nature and is not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment, or diagnosis.

You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and psychological well-being before, during, and after the Training.

If you have a physical or mental health condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

You agree that participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser, its staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the Training.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the Training.

10. Data Protection

We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Your personal data will only be used for the purpose of administering the Training and communicating with you.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal (where the retreat and service provision take place).

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
